PACT (Palakkad Alzheimer's charitable trust) &  KWC (Karunya welfare committee)

The trustees of PACT decided to meet every 3 or 4 months in a year to review financial and progress of the Geriatric care center. Also it was decided that all policy matters will be decided by the board of trustees. To get more recognition of the local people in the day to day activities it was agreed to form a local Karunya welfare committee (KWC). and the KWC was formed. The members of KWC were selected from the close locality of Karunya who could quickly come and help the Secretary in emergencies. Sri.P.Parameswaran (retired Air Force) was elected as the Chairman.and Mr.Madhu, the Managing Trustee as the Secretary. KWC Will meet once in a month ( Every first Saturday of the month) Discussing the day to day activities of Karunya of the previous month and minute the details .All Policy and Financial matters will be decided by the Trust. Day to day activities without serious financial commitment will be discussed and decided every month at KWC meetings .
